Resolving Issues Policy

Last Updated:  25th August, 2026

This Resolving Issues Policy sets out how to resolve issues that may arise between you and the breathwork professionals and training organisations listed on our website at www.breathfinder.io (our site). It applies to everyone who visits or uses our site, including subscribers (the breathwork professionals and training organisations registered on it). By using our site you accept and agree to keep to this policy, which applies alongside our Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy.

1.  Other documents that apply:

These terms of use refer to the following documents, which also apply to your use of our Site.

Everyone listed on our site agrees to keep to our Code of Ethics. If something has gone wrong, we’d always rather give the professional a chance to put it right first — in our experience that leads to a better outcome for everyone. It doesn’t happen often, but if you’ve been let down by a professional or training organisation listed with us, here’s how we can help.

2. How to raise an issue:

  • First, try to resolve it directly. We encourage you to raise your concern directly with the professional, company or organisation involved, to see if it can be sorted between you. Most issues are resolved this way.
  • If that doesn’t work, tell us. Contact us with the details and we’ll look into it. We can only help with issues about professionals and organisations listed on BreathFinder.

3. How we handle it:

  • We look into each issue impartially, carrying out a reasonable review and checking whether our Code of Ethics, Subscriber Terms & Conditions or Terms of Use have been broken.
  • We’ll usually contact the professional. With your agreement, we’ll raise your concern with them, as that’s what most often leads to a resolution. If you’d prefer we didn’t, we can still record and look into your concern, though our ability to resolve it may be limited.
  • We help toward a fair outcome — we don’t adjudicate. BreathFinder is not a regulator or a court. We don’t run formal investigations or decide legal rights between you and a professional; we help both sides reach a reasonable resolution where we can.
  • Where the Code is broken, we act on the listing. If we find a breach, we may unpublish the profile and withdraw verification, in line with our Code of Ethics and Terms of Use.
  • Serious matters go to the right people. Where a concern involves personal safety, safeguarding, or possible criminal conduct, please also contact the police or the relevant authorities — and the professional’s own professional body if they have one — and we’ll act on the listing as appropriate.

4. What we need from you:

  • We may ask for evidence of the consultation or booking (for example a confirmation or receipt) so we can look into the matter properly.
  • Within 12 months. We can look into issues raised within 12 months of the consultation or appointment. Outside that, we can usually only review the matter where a guarantee or warranty applies.
  • Not anonymous. We can’t act on anonymous reports or reports from third parties. Your details are kept confidential — we won’t share them with the professional without your agreement — but we do need to know who is raising the concern.
  • Court action. If court action is underway between you and the professional, we may hold any action on the listing until the outcome is known, and we may ask for proof of a stamped court application.

5. Our response:

  • We aim to acknowledge every issue within 24 hours.
  • Whatever the outcome, please do still tell us about your experience. We record every concern internally, which helps us build an accurate picture of how a professional conducts their practice and informs their verification.

6. Off-platform conduct and liability:

BreathFinder Ltd is not liable for any transactions or conduct that take place off our platform between a client and a professional, or for any advice a professional provides or any action you take as a result of it. Our role is to verify, list, and — where our standards are broken — act accordingly.

7. Changes to this policy:

BreathFinder Ltd does not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of the material on this site. We may change, supplement, delete or update this policy without notice at our discretion. Please check it from time to time — changes are binding once published.
