Resolving Issues Policy

Last Updated:  1st December, 2023

Resolving Issues policy sets out how to resolve issues that may occur between you and breath coaches and practitioners on our website at www.breathfinder.io (our site). It applies to everyone who visits or uses our site, including subscribers (breath coach or practitioners registered on our site).  By using our site you accept, and agree to keep to, this resolving issues policy, which applies alongside our website  Terms of Use and our Acceptable Use Policy, which sets out how you may use our website. It applies to everyone who visits or uses our site.

1.  Other documents that apply:

These terms of use refer to the following documents, which also apply to your use of our Site.

Our members and subscribers also promise to meet The Ethical Code Of Conduct standards and agree to have feedback from their clients published online for all to see.  Before we publish negative feedback we like to give our members and subscribers a chance to put the matter right. We have found that this usually results in a much better outcome for you.

It doesn’t happen very often, but if you have been let down by a member or subscriber here’s how we can help:

2.  What to Do:

  • We encourage and recommend you to make all reasonable efforts to discuss your issues directly with the practitioner, company or organisation concerned to see if a mutual resolution can be made.
  • Whilst BreathFinder Ltd will undertake a level of investigation, our aim is to remain impartial throughout, supporting where we can bring both parties to a reasonable resolution.  We will also ensure our Code Of Conduct & Policy has not been breached nor our agreement as a subscriber on BreathFinder and Terms Of Use
  • We will contact the practitioner, company or organisation to discuss your concerns as this encourages a resolution. If you do not wish for BreathFinder Ltd to contact the practitioner. company or organisation, we may be able to investigate the complaint but cannot publish your comments. Your complaint will be kept on record which will allow us to build up a picture of how the Breathwork Service Provider (BSP) conducts their business.
  • We can only assist you with complaints about BreathFinder Ltd members (subscribers) (this includes any complaints up to a year prior to the BSP becoming a member).
  • The complaint must be within a 12 month period from the day the of consultation, or outside of this date range we can only review complaints if there was a guarantee or warranty is in place.
  • If necessary, BreathFinder Ltd may ask for evidence of consultations / appointment bookings. In the absence of evidence, we will be unable to publish the complaint.
  • We will not publish anonymous comments or those from third parties.
  • If court action is being taken by the client, the complaint will be published and remain published if the court rules in favour of the customer. If court action is being taken by the Business, the complaint will be kept on hold until the courts verdict and published if the court rules in favour of the client. In any event we require proof of a stamped court application.
  • If a satisfactory resolution is obtained, you are welcomed to decide whether you wish to continue with your original comments, to withdraw them or to submit new feedback.
  • We aim to respond to all Complaints within 24 hours.
  • We aim to publish all complaints within 15 working days.
  • All feedback is published in order of date of consultation or appointment booking.
  • Any published complaints will not show the customers details, for example name and address.
  • We reserve the right to edit comments for length, spelling or clarity. We will not publish names or abusive language.
  • In any event, please do still notify us of your experience. Your comments are important and will be recorded internally. This will help us build up a picture of this Breathwork Service Provider and the way in which they conduct their business.
  • BreathFinder Ltd is in no way liable for any business transactions or conduct outside our platform between the client (customer) and business (subscriber) – for any advice a subscriber provides or actions you take as a result of that advice or support.
