Code Of Ethics

Help us keep our community strong and safe:

We believe that a safe community will grow, collaborate and become stronger together. Our community Code of Ethics will guide behaviours to ensure everyone is heard, valued and supported. 

The BreathFinder community, inclusive of those on our team, our Breathwork Service Providers (BSPs) and those using our services, undertake to be proactively trustworthy, purpose driven, global, inclusive, transparent and accessible.

Below are ways we expect our community (team members, partners and collaborators, BSP’s, clients, consumers and customers) to operate when engaging with the rest of the BreathFinder community. Our Code of Ethics inform what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you, as part of our global breath collective.

If you see anything that you believe violates our guidelines, please help us by using our built-in reporting option.  Located on the quick tab button at the top right of each listing, to report a listing or Contact Us directly.  We will review each report one by one based on these guidelines.


Our Intentions – Safeguarding our Community:

BreathFinder is an extension of your community and we believe that this community has the power to unite people by creating a safe and friendly space where all community members feel welcome.  By using you accept, and agree to these community Code of Ethics, as well as our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy


Your Commitment: 

BreathFinder is not intended as a website for verifying the qualifications, abilities, credentials or professionalism of any BSP’s listed and is not responsible for any member listed in our platform.  Although we seek a relevant qualification for those not registered with a professional body (see Verification Process Policy), an approved listing does not mean that BreathFinder endorses or accredits that qualification. BreathFinder does not warrant or represent that the platform or any part thereof is accurate or complete.

We list basic (free) listings for some Individuals or organisations for informational purposes.  We do not monitor basic listings and they will not have the BreathFinder verification seal.

Members agree that they have read and understood the provisions of the Code of Ethics. They represent the standards to which members aspire and will abide to the best of their ability. Furthermore, members agree to be held accountable to their colleagues for any actions that deviate from its standards.


Code of Ethics Values:

We have developed Seven community values that should underpin all your interactions and help guide you within our community breath collective.  We believe there is no competition, only One Community.  Every BSP has its own “thing” that makes it different or unique.  The goal with this platform is to spotlight the value that each brings to the table and encourage collaboration to help grow our community.

 1. Be Trustworthy:

Our community is based on relationships and built on trust, enabling us to create an environment within which you can feel safe, heard and supported.  We do this through:

  • Customers and clients engaging with BSP’s within our community in an authentic and genuine way. This includes, but is not limited to, representing themselves authentically, having the means to pay for services that are requested and not expecting more than what is described in the service offering. 
  • BSP’s to the best of their ability are responsible for ensuring that their profile is accurate and reflects their current situation. 
  • Customers and consumers ensuring to check the credentials of a BSP before agreeing to purchase theirs services. This includes, but not limited to, evidence of qualifications, registration details with a recognised professional body, evidence of insurance cover.
  • BSP’s ensuring all communications, appointments and ongoing dealings are completed within our agreed Subscriber Terms & Conditions and ensuring they offer a consistent client experience.
  • Customers and consumers accepting full responsibility for all communications between you and BSPs you contact through our platform.
  • BreathFinder operating from a place of integrity, remaining authentic to its purpose and also having the community’s best interest at the core of all decisions.
  • BSP’s providing customers with the service as described and agreed in their service offering. The BSP who is listed on the BreathFinder platform must be the BSP who delivers the service.
  • Clients providing reviews must honour what truly happened.
  • Client and BSP relationships which are built on trust and is two-way.
  • BreathFinder not supporting any behaviour that is threatening, disparaging or disrespectful within our community. If anyone believes they are or have experienced unwanted behaviours that do not uphold our community Code Of Ethics, we would ask to be informed in order to address the issue appropriately. 


  1. Be Respectful:

We respect where community members are on their breath health & wellness journey, and listen without judgment.  Please appreciate that others may have an opinion different from yours.  We do this through:

  • Everyone treating each other with courtesy and respect. Always use clean and civil language, even in a debate.
  • Everyone approaching all our interactions with kindness, courtesy, warmth and always assuming the best intentions.  We’re all in this together to create a welcoming community. Let’s treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
  • Everyone not attacking others in our community as this is prohibited. Material that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, offensive, abusive, hateful, inflammatory, profane, racially, sexually or religiously offensive or otherwise objectionable or unlawful is not acceptable.
  • BreathFinder having a zero tolerance for racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic or otherwise discriminatory language. For example, harassment of any kind, such as racial or sexual harassment, or bullying is totally unacceptable. 
  • Everyone reporting abuse, please report it to us using the ‘Report” quick action button on Listings and elsewhere on the website or contacting the BreathFinder moderation team by using our Contact Us form.
  • Everyone thanking your community member when they post something helpful, informative or kind.
  1. Be Purpose Driven

Our purpose is to be a global facilitator of breath health and wellness practices through access, education and advancement of breath complementary therapies.  Our community is based on relationships and all decisions made and steps taken will be with this in mind.  We do this through:

  • As part of our global breath collective BSPs are committing to helping create a happier, healthier world. We encourage our BSPs to uphold this global purpose in every interaction they have with others within and outside of our community. 
  • BSPs been responsible for conducting their own business. Whilst all of our BSPs are unique, they are hand selected for their alignment for the greater purpose of healing our world through the power of breath.
  • BSPs creating an environment that will allow customers, consumers and clients to be heard, seen and feel supported in their breath health and wellness journey.
  • Customers investing in and taking responsibility for their own breath healing and wellness journey, which contributes to BreathFinder’s global purpose.
  • Each profile representing an individual BSP running their own business, who has made a decision to join our global breath collective. Our BSPs support a common purpose to heal our world and uphold our community values
  • BreathFinder ensuring that its qualification standards align with appropriate associations to provide our community with a unified approach to qualifications and standards
  • BreathFinder and our BSPs supporting and encouraging our consumers, customers and clients along their breath health and wellness journey.
  1. Be Global

A global community with a common purpose, enabling BSPs and customers to have access to, and interact within, a consistent framework.  We do this through: 

  • BSPs contributing to our global purpose through the delivery of their individual services, creating safe environments and making a difference to their clients.
  • Clients committing to expanding their self-awareness and take responsibility for their breath health and wellness journey which contributes to our global vision.
  • BreathFinder sharing informative content to assist in the preventative and wellness aspects of a journey. This is sourced from credible, global sources. 
  • BSPs qualifications may be attained in a different country to your domicile however, BreathFinder looks to aligned associations to ensure our vetting criteria meets industry standards.
  • BreathFinder providing a consistent framework of professional profiles in order for our customers and clients to access BSPs via our online global platform. 


  1. Be Inclusive

Diversity and inclusion is critical within our community based interactions, and enables us to grow with mutual respect and understanding.  We do this through:

  • BreathFinder encouraging interactions across all our social media platforms and feedback channels, and we will continue to grow our platform based on our community feedback.
  • BSPs contributing to opportunities provided by BreathFinder to extend the knowledge and experience of Breathwork and Breath Coaching wellness therapies to the general public. 
  • Clients’ feedback enabling us to continually build a platform that meets their needs. BreathFinder encourages everyone to share their breath health and wellness stories as a vital member of the global breath community.
  • BreathFinder being a responsive organisation, growing through listening to our community’s views and feedback with a respect for diversity, whilst using discernment to uphold our purpose.
  • BreathFinder not accepting any discrimination nor harassment in the reviews and ratings process. 
  • BreathFinder upholding the egalitarian principle that it is everyone’s birth right to be well. With this in mind, BreathFinder endeavours to provide opportunities for everyone to access information and services through our various channels.
  1. Be Transparent:

 In all our interactions, communications and decision making, we will be transparent in who we are in all we do and say.  We do this through:

  • Everyone using their real first name, last name, email address. If not, your account may be terminated if any of your profile information is found to be false.
  • Everyone only posting their own content, in your own words, photos and videos you took yourself. Any photos and other content you post that is not your own is subject to removal
  • Everyone making every effort when replying to a comment, stay on topic.
  • Everyone to be encouraged to upload a profile picture and fill out your user bio to give your community a better idea of who they’re talking to.
  • Everyone making every effort to check your facts and avoid spreading misinformation. Cite your sources and tell the community where you got your facts.
  • BreathFinder making every effort to clearly depict BSPs, and demonstrate their skills and experience, enabling our clients and customers to view a profile and connect via a discovery call before making a decision regarding their breath health and wellness journey.
  • BreathFinder ensuring our pricing model is clear, transparent, and connected to the services that are provided on our platform. 
  • BreathFinder providing a review and rating process to facilitate client feedback on BSP interactions, which may assist customer choices to make an informed decision prior to making a commitment to book with a BSP. 
  • BreathFinder setting strong standards concerning what can and can’t be contained in reviews. No spam, self-promotion, links, offensive language nor specifics about health outcomes or situations are allowed, as outlined in our Reviews Policy


  1. Be Accessible

We are open to all who align with our purpose, and live by our values to join our community breath collective.  We do this through:

  • BreathFinder openness to collaborate with associations, brand partners and aligned networks, while supporting its community of BSPs, clients and customers – an exclusive invitation to all who align with our global purpose of breath health awareness for all.
  • BSPs service offerings i.e. discovery calls, informative profiles, inviting our customers to become clients, in order to support their breath health and wellness journey.
  • Clients engaging via submitting a review and inviting us to be part of their breath health and wellness journey.
  • BreathFinder honouring everyone’s breath health and wellness journey, and believing every connection is an invitation to support each other.
  • BreathFinder providing an online platform and qualifying BSPs to a stringent framework, providing professional profiles that customers and clients can seamlessly access and connect before making a commitment to action. 
  • BreathFinder providing a secure, easy to use financial payment process platform for BSPs via a secure third party provider.
  • BreathFinder continuing to enhance the platform based on feedback, and grow our reach ensuring accessibility to credible content, qualified BSPs and global research on the benefits of Breath as a means of health and wellness.


A team of moderators have been entrusted with the ability to intervene when these community values and rules have been breached. However, due to the dynamic nature and the sheer volume of posts and reviews, we can’t immediately read everything written – therefore much of the responsibility for maintaining our friendly environment lies with you.

If any material raises concern about your safety or the safety of others, we may try to contact you to make sure that you or others are safe. We may also need to pass your contact details on to authorities who can help protect your safety or the safety of others (for example, to the police or a mental health crisis service). Should you wish to query a moderation decision, please Contact Us privately.

You will be advised by email if we are unable to publish your post or review, or if a post / review has to be edited or removed from the website because it breaches our community values and rules. We take our duty of care in providing a safe environment for all community members seriously, and this includes recognising when a member may benefit from participating in our community and when it may be more appropriate to seek support offline.  We reserve the right to permanently deactivate the accounts of users who breach our community rules.


Breach of the Code of Ethics:

It will be our sole decision as to whether there has been a breach of this Code of Ethics. We have the right (but not the obligation) to edit, refuse to post, or to remove any contribution in whole or in part that we deem to be in breach of the Code of Ethics. Where we believe there is a breach of the Code of Ethics, we may take whatever action we feel is appropriate in the circumstances.

Failure to comply with this Code of Ethics constitutes a material breach of the website Term of Use, which could result in us taking any of the following actions:

  • issuing a warning to you;
  • immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of any contribution or of your right to use our website, including deletion of any personal profile;
  • legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all losses and costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach and/or further legal action against you; and/or
  • disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities or other relevant third parties as we reasonably feel is necessary.

We exclude liability for actions taken in response to breaches of this Code of Ethics. The responses described in this policy are not limited, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.

Changes to the Code of Ethics:

We may change our Code of Ethics at any time.  We do not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of this material and shall in no event be liable to you or anyone for any decision made or action taken by you on the reliance on information provided on  

BreathFinder disclaims all warranties, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of fitness for that particular purpose

All information may be changed, supplemented, deleted or updated without notice at the sole discretion of BreathFinder.  Please check from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as these are binding on you.
