Verification Policy

We work hard to protect the integrity of the Breathwork Industry

Verification Process

Building trust is at the core of our brand. When a customer or organisation contacts a Breathwork Service Provider (BSP) (Practitioner, Facilitator, Instructor, Coach, Trainer) or Breathwork Training Provider (BTP) (Training Schools who provide courses to student, Practitioner, Facilitator, Instructor, Coach, Trainer), you can be assured that their health and wellness goals are in good hands. That’s why all BSP's & BTP's are verified on the platform to provide the highest standards of care. To become a verified BSP or BTP on our platform, each individual or organisation must pass all five stages of the process.

1. Documentation is Key

Every time a Breathwork Service provider (BSP) or Breathwork Training Provider (BTP) registers with us, they are required to provide certain documentation relating to their qualifications, experience, industry association / professional body membership, Working With Children Checks (WWCC) if needed, as well as business related information, which may include further social proof relating to their social media following, website and other affiliations.

We provide our Global Breathwork Institute Seal of approval, approved courses badge to BTP’s once approved. We also show a verification mark on all related listings for the BSP Individuals and BTP Organisations.  This verification seal indicates the BSP’s and BTP’s have meet all professional criteria for membership.

2. Our Standards Checklist (see more below)

Once all relevant documentation has been received, our team reviews against our Global Breathwork Institute Standards Checklist.

3. Communication With BSP's & BTP's

If a BSP or BTP has not met all the requirements, they are contacted to discuss the outcome of their application, including areas requiring attention. Once these areas are addressed, the BSP’s or BTP’s are then encouraged to resubmit.

4. Publishing & Social Proof of Services

If successful, a profile of the BSP or BTP will be uploaded to our website, including their biography, service offerings, education and training and relevant industry membership.

5. Professional Conduct & Monitoring

To ensure our BSP’s & BTP’s adhere to professional conduct and provide ongoing quality care, we have a rating and review system which is available on the BSP’s or BTP’s listing.  If a BSP’s or BTP’s reviews fall below a certain standard, we will investigate their reviews and have internal procedures to remove them from our website if we deem appropriate.

Our Standards Checklist

The non-negotiables we need from our Breathwork Service Providers & Breathwork Training Providers, must provide us proof of the following::

Breathwork Service Provider: (Practitioner, Facilitator, Instructor, Coach, Trainer)

  • A relevant copy of your qualification / certification
  • Or proof of registration with a relevant professional body.

You can read more below on our application submission requirements.

Breathwork Training Providers: (Training Schools who provide courses to Practitioner, Facilitator, Instructor, Coach, Trainer)

  • A relevant copy of qualification / certification
  • Or Proof of registration with a professional body from at least one member of the organisation or the organisation itself.

You can read more below on our application submission requirements.

  • Not every qualification is the same. That is why we review each qualification against industry benchmarks set by the appropriate industry professional body accreditation or association.
  • Although optional, we encourage BSP’s & BTP’s to be members of relevant professional accreditations or associations.
  • When a traditional or emerging therapy is being offered, and requires specific lineage or expertise, we work with recognised bodies, experts in their field as well as elders to ensure a credible standard has been set. Where appropriate we will continue to evolve our qualification standards.
  • We also recommend our BSP’s & BTP’s to provide evidence of an active social media profile, acknowledgement of years in practice and a WWCC, if appropriate.
  • Once approved, our dedicated team will work with our BSP’s & BTP’s to ensure we showcase their individual expertise, passions and talents so that everyone can receive a fuller picture of how they may assist customers with their wellness (wellbeing) goals.
  • As a member of our platform, everyone’s health and wellness is our priority. We do the hard work selecting the highest calibre of BSP’s & BTP’s, so everyone can expect consistent, quality standards in complementary breath health care.
