What is Conscious Connected Breath?
Well, it's an amazing tool, which starts to make breath a far more conscious part of your life. It's defined rather complex in my opinion, as a self healing modality that allows us to access greater lung capacity and puts the body into a type of auto pilot reset.
So let me explain. It's a self healing modality because the process takes to bring anything that's out of balance back into alignment. Or you could say, actually, a bit like on your iPhone, if you consider that our bodies are full of cells, and these cells rely on oxygen for their fuel, breathing in a connected way that we're doing a session means ourselves get supercharged with fuel, and they regenerate as a result, and then work more efficiently and effectively.
It also works on a mental and emotional level. We all have emotional baggage, or we experience trauma or stress our bodies go into what's called fight or flight mode. And when this happens, we tend to suppress our emotions, hold our breath and contract our spiritual systems. And when this happens, feelings and emotions can't be processed. And so our body files emotional way, with the view of dealing with dealing with it and a lot of time.
Over time that body gets heavier and heavier with this unprocessed emotional energy. And what conscious connected breathing does is to help you clear those emotions from the body and it helps us to gain clarity in the future. Imagine yourself as a hot air balloon trying to get off the ground. But you have these heavy sandbags holding you back from taking off.
With each breath, you'll begin to offload these sandbags so that you'll eventually feel much lighter. You can take off the graphs is also a great vehicle for exploring yourself to help you answer deep questions that you might be asking yourself who you are. Some may call this this spiritual selves but it's whatever you feel most comfortable calling.
So the objective is often unhealthy. And therefore it's really important that we understand the impact that breathing while has on our bodies. The way we breathe, whether it's functional or dysfunctional, has a direct impact on how we're feeling on a physical level.
They've got 12 systems in the body, breathing better and more fully nourishes all of them, gives them a magical boost so that we can improve our nervous systems. Our digestive systems, our circulatory systems. And the process also acts as a pump for our lymphatic system, which is the system that feeds and cleans our body.
Whilst it sounds like a big claim, learning how to breathe better through conscious connected breathing and having a relationship with your breath. Really well bring physical, mental, and emotional and dare I say it spiritual self back into balance and harmony.
On a physical level, we'll be looking to achieve optimum health. On an emotional level. We'll be looking to achieve greater clarity and on spiritual self, we will bring to self knowledge. I experienced this every day with my own breathwork and when I see clients in every session, something magical happens. That breaths helps us to focus better.
When the mind wants to chatter, you know the feeling the breath brings it back calls us back into the present moment.
And so in terms of what you can expect from a session, or really extra one is totally different. People go away feeling good, but still great. With just some it can be quite a mind blowing experience.
It's likely to be easier than you anticipate. And the most important thing I've asked you to do is just to keep the breath and just allow whatever comes up. Without judging any of this at all. Your body will be taking care of what's happening within it. So all you need to do during this session is just keep the fuel to keep your breath flowing.
The breathing session itself lasts between 30 to 40 minutes, but about 10 minutes at the end just allow yourself to fully relax. It's quite normal to feel a bit of resistance when you first start breathing, such as worrying you're not doing it right or that it's not working. Again during the session. All I'll ask you to do is keep breathing through and you'll find yourself relaxing more and more into the process.
It's a form of judgment. A judgment is just a form of resistance and is considered positive in a collective breath session. It means it's a good sign that you're heading in the right direction for positive change in your life.
I hope that's explained a little bit more about conscious connected
