For years, nothing I did ever felt good enough. I had survived childhood and adult traumas including a kidnapping, the loss of a child, and an abusive relationship. I prided myself on my resilience, yet could not silence the critic in my head who was constantly berating me. I dove into all things nutrition and learned the importance of gut health and proper nutrition. I ate all the right foods, read the right books and kept a healthy routine. Still, I knew something was missing. I longed to feel confident and at peace within myself.

It took me longer than I like to admit, but a mentor finally convinced me to try a Breathwork Session. I initially thought it would just be another meditation session. Something else that would help me survive, but not quite thrive in the way I wanted to.

Boy, was I wrong.

The session was so powerful that I knew, immediately, that I had found what I was looking for. The problem was that it felt too powerful. I felt overwhelmed by the amount of repressed emotions and trauma that resurfaced. With this knowledge in hand, I kept looking. I came across a method of breathwork that uses a trauma-informed approach. I jumped right in and began training with Samantha Skelley of Pause Breathwork.

Over six months of practice and training with Samantha, I watched as the layers of past emotion and trauma peeled away. It felt like self-help on steroids. I began to feel a lightness and peace that I had forgotten was possible. The negative voice in my head was quieting down, while the empowered and confident voice of my inner wisdom grew louder. Many of the daily annoyances I couldn’t shake (digestive upsets, random pains, anxiety) began to fall away. All of the while, I knew I was safe and supported.

I knew, then, what my purpose was. It became my mission to empower women to heal, transform, and create the life of their dreams.

I combine trauma-informed breathwork with meditation, coaching, and somatic healing techniques to allow you to release what has been holding you back, tap into YOUR inner wisdom, rewire your nervous system, and integrate healthy habits.

I am living proof that there is no age limit on healing. It is never too early, or too late, to step into your true purpose and power. Everyone deserves to feel this good within themselves.
